The Emmy award nominated show has become a topic among friends and even strangers alike. Seems like i'm not the only one that wants to know ... Really whats goes on in the head of a mass muderer......well at least in a hollywood backdrop anyway.

i've got a fever for the series, almost like a 15 yr old girl that has a crush on a Rock star. Wallpapers, interviews , i even named my puppy after this guy, not for his darkness of course. Its a cool name and he's a cool character.

Finally when i'm getting daily errands, it's not the weather thats being discussed between 2 people , its Dexter. Everyone is talking about the brilliant cast, the great story and the purpose to why this character is breaking the law, but for all the people that are watching, we justify his actions.

Dexter. The Robin hood of murderers. The serial killer that chooses his victim's because they are killers themselves.
He's cleaning the streets of Miami and allowing the families of the victim's that were killed by Dexters "prey" , a chance move on. but it is Dexter that needs to move on from a past so disturbing you understand his need to kill. This show is a New concept and one so interesting to discover.

I was once a huge fan of crime series but they all seemed to be one sided, the detectives piont of view.
This is from Dexter's side ,the main character that has an erge to kill ,just like the hunger a vampire has for blood.

A little bit Clark Kent, Dexter a forensic photographer, is among the ones that capture the very thing he is. Being a part of the police, does he know how to keep himself under the radar? As the saying goes,'keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
Thats why this series is so good. .... It's unpredictable.

As the series climb the situations get closer to finding the truth. Dexter is the driving force of this show, so he's not going anywhere, but the series keeps you guessing on how he seems to always get himself out of trouble right before he is caught.

By far the best series on television and my favourite of all time to date.

Stepbrothers 4/5

Just when i thought this comedy duo had done their day, they have come up with a winner.
If you have siblings, you will reminise
if you had friends or cousins that use to sleep over you will also reminise.
It dont matter what your childhood was like, this movie is sure to take you on a trip down memory lane and realise the way we acted as children, but only better.Their adults.

You got 2 Grown men, whose parents fall in love with eachother and because they are still under their parents wing they also have to live with eachother.
So the story goes on about how they become Friends , Enemies, and how they Grow up and be Men.... Almost.

The film was the perfect length in time and in laughs. This time Ferrell and Reilly got the improv right. they work so well together in this film, the outbursts of laughter were frequent on my behalf.

Its one of those films you can relate to, and it reminds you of how much fun growing up was.If you want an easy movie to watch, this is the flick to see.

Review of Happy Feet

January 25th 2007 00:52

The all singing, all dancing, answer to overfishing.

Happy Feet (2006)

Directed: George Miller
Written: Warren Coleman, John Collee, George Miller and Judy Morris
Voices of: Elijah Wood, Brittany Murphy, Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and Robin Williams

There are times when a movie tries so hard to make a point that it forgets to tell a story, and unfortunately the otherwise promising Happy Feet falls victim to the very arguments it is trying to make.

Following the exploits of tone deaf but tap happy emperor penguin Mumble (Elijah Wood) and his quest to discover the aliens who have been taking all the fish (no really that's the long and the short of it), this movie takes itself and its issues of environmentalism and individualism so far that the viewer feels that they're on the underside of an ecological fire and brimstone pulpit. This isn't to say that the not important issues - they are, and they become more so every day, but some of like a little subtlety in our storylines.

While well made and generally well acted (Robin Williams naturally steals the show, while Nicole Kidman's Marilyn Monroe impression did nothing for me), the movie suffers from a chronic lack of plot, a seriousness that just doesn't work in a kids movie and the overwhelming sensation that one is being hit over the head by a GreenPeace sign.

Save the Penguins, not the dancing Penguins

5/10

Bring it On.

Okay. It's not a movie. Technically it isn't even a TV show. But quite frankly that doesn't stop it from being the most watchable thing on the box at the moment
